  • 1 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/3 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tbsp canola oil or other neutral flavored oil
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 small hot pepper like a jalapeno or serrano pepper (optional)

Teriyaki:

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or Tamari or Bragg's Liquid Aminos
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp ginger fresh grated

Thai Chili:

  • 1/4 cup seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic chili paste
  • 2 tsp sugar

Cornell:

  1. 2 tbsp canola oil
  2. 2 tbsp white vinegar
  3. 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  4. 2 tsp poultry seasoning
  5. 1 tsp salt
  6. 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions
For the marinades with granulated sugar: (Thai Chili and Teriyaki)

  1. Place all ingredients in a small saucepan and heat until the sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Allow cooling before pouring over tofu.

For the marinades without granulated sugar: (Balsamic, Cornell, Sweet Asian)

  1. Add all ingredients to a small bowl and stir with a whisk or a fork until well blended.

Cilantro Lime:
